Dear SMACNA Chapter Executives:

I am excited to share the progress we have made in the development of both the educational program and registration details for The SMACNA Edge Conference: A Virtual Education Forum.

The Edge Conference is scheduled to take place October 13-15, 2020 during which time we will be offering attendees more than four hours of content per day with ample time devoted to member questions and networking between sessions. The opportunity to interact with suppliers is built into the software platform. We have designed the program to appeal not only to traditional SMACNA convention goers, but also to others in the companies, particularly project managers and field supervisors.

I am really happy with the quality and timeliness of the program content we’ve arranged.

  • Economic Forecast and the Construction Industry – Anirban Basu, CEO, Sage Policy Group
  • SMACNA System Leakage Duct Manual: A Demo on Aspects to Testing of an Entire HVAC System – Mark Terzigni

These session topics, along with the industry experts presenting them, will provide timely information to contractors and their staff that will help them successfully deal with the current industry challenges. Unlimited online access to the programs will be exclusive to registrants through January 15, 2021. The event is designed to attract a large number of SMACNA members and their employees. The shift to a virtual format facilitates that objective. I am sure you will be pleased with our pricing, especially the opportunity for members to provide company-wide access to all their employees.

We are still putting the finishing touches on the registration platform and will notify everyone as soon as registration is open – probably around the first week of August. The chapter user interface may not function with the online education platform. We are testing that now and will provide complete information when registration opens.

SMACNA looks forward to providing value to you and all our members before, during and after The SMACNA Edge Conference. Thank you for being an active part of our community.

Sincerely,
Vincent R. Sandusky
