The SMACNA Oregon & SW Washington networking committee, led by Jimmy Roth at General Sheet Metal, organizes events where SMACNA Contractors and Affiliates can get together, network with their peers, discuss industry topics, and have fun while doing so.
This August, the networking committee went whitewater rafting on the Upper Clackamas River. Twenty-one members and affiliates met on the hottest day of the year with temperatures in the upper 90s. Filling three rafts, we splashed down the Upper Clackamas River stopping to swim in swimming holes and shooting down rapids.
The networking committee will be putting on additional events so keep an eye out for invitations and please join us. ■
